I went out really early on Monday to settle some bill (lost card replacement) on my father's behalf in One Marina Boulevard (the NTUC building). Since I'm out, I have decided to go to China Town as it is just walking distance from Raffles Place. I could look for some raw materials as I need to make a wedding veil for my friend, and also to help Sheena to get an antique fan. The theme for her D&D was Shanghai Tang. LOL China Town can be really beautiful in morning, serenity is the word.

I sew all these small roses on her "Cheong Sum" and I styled her hair (I failed to re-create a 70s look).

Movie: Chronicle

I detest it, initially. I'm disgusted by the idea of shooting the film based on hand-cam. E.g. Cloverfield, it sucks to the max. I ended up feeling nausea. But... Chronicle is different, indeed there were some parts shabbily taken but it turns to be an awesome movie. The CGI effect was almost realistic and the plot was engaging, you can literally feel that these characters were real and that they were flying. L O L

I watched Chronicle on 2nd February 2012 with Danny. We ended up in Mustafa Centre (Farrer Park, Singapore) nearly mid-night. It's really fun, or exotic, cause I'm like the only Chinese walking among the other races. I felt as if I am travelling alone in a foreign land. "haha" I'm not a racist.

O M G... The Golden Globe 2012 is coming soon. The moment of excitement and anticipation, L O L. You could view all the nominations in Golden Globe 2012. Let me cover some of the top awards. Best Motion Picture - Drama (look at the above picture) I'm going for either The Help (with an extra 's'... sorry) or The Ides of March. Why, The Help? The film is about the disparity between the blacks and whites. It shows really great contrast between both races, tense topic with some funny element. Definitely own a great start to the race. Also, great performances by the casts. Why, The Ides of March? Politics, dark secrets, and most of all - man power. It has all the elements which help the film winning the award.

Why not, Moneyball? Brad Pitt the male version of Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side... He might win Best Actor for the movie, but maybe not Best Picture. Why not, Hugo? I'm not sure, the keywords search to the movie are, train, orphan, and clock. I'm already not interested. Why not, The Descendants? Too family... although I couldn't resist George Clooney! Why not, War Horse? War theme is always the favorite, and Steven Spielberg? I don't know, it seems Steven kind of lost his motivation in film industry.

Emmm... Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical (5 films) It might have to be, Midnight in Paris. This is the best of Allen Woody, so far. It's funny, with clever plots. Paris is never more beautiful captured, I'm mesmerized totally.

Why not, the others... The runner up might have to be The Artist and 50/50. Bridesmaids is definitely out of the race, while My Week With Marilyn is too girl power. We have seen how Dream Girls flop in the Oscars. But, Michelle Williams is definitely standing strong for the award - Best Actress. Her competitors are Jodie Foster and Kate Winslet.

Intoxicated Christmas Party

I always celebrated Christmas "solitary", many reasons. One of which is the crowd can be really huge in different town areas. I didn't want to be pancake. But last night, was a different case. Somehow, or rather I managed to piss (almost) all my close friends off before Christmas. Really? Yeah! I wanted so much to say I'm sorry but not all was that forgiving. Thus, I got myself intoxicated before and in the club. I did a lot of scandalous things with quite a few people.

These pictures were taken using iPhone 4S... The resolution sucks in the night.

From Wiki: Simbang Gabi = Night Mass, is a devotional nine days series of masses practiced by the Catholic in Philippines in anticipation of the Christmas. In Philippines, Simbang Gabi is held from the 16th to 24th of December, as early as 4am in the morning (The priest mentioned 3am though). The last day of Simbang Gabi, Christmas eve is called Misa De Gallo = Rooster's Mass.

Whereas Singapore, the first Simbang Gabi was held on 15th to 24th, it lasted ten days. In order to compromise everyone, the mass was conducted in the evening at 8pm (15th - 23rd) and 6pm on the last day (24th). The last day of Simbang Gabi in Singapore is called Mother of Our Saviour.

It was a busy day, why? Meiru wanted to buy something for herself, a dress. She need to attend a pole dancing competition to support her sister, also she need to attend her future sister-in-law pageant thing in ZOUK and we need to rush to our Church in Boon Lay. Everything crashes, desperately in need to sort out priorities.

Oh! On the same day, I need to ruch down to M.A.C. (makeup store) in Bugis to meet Issac (a super busy blogger, and recent turn socialite) to grab my ticket to "The Noel" (a fashion runway for charity).

and the best part of the day, Singapore SMRT (train service) had a major breakdown... W O W and look at the above, a business/ income opportunity for the cab driver. This is awesome, man!
